A graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law School, Ray brings extensive experience representing clients in high-stakes civil and criminal disputes across the entertainment, technology, real estate, and financial services sectors. Ray’s recent defense verdict in the criminal fraud prosecution United States v. Stephen Chamberlain received numerous accolades, including “Impact Case of the Year” by Benchmark Litigation and recognitions from the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal and Global Investigations Review.
Ray has secured successful outcomes in indicted criminal cases, defended global entertainment groups in intellectual property litigation, and advised Fortune 200 companies in sensitive regulatory and employment matters.

Before joining KHIKS, Ray practiced at Bird Marella and Munger, Tolles & Olson. He previously served as a Deputy City Attorney for Los Angeles and clerked for the Honorable Jay S. Bybee on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
