Michael Kump recently appeared as a guest speaker over Zoom for the Michigan Entertainment Law Organization (MELO), the University of Michigan’s first undergraduate club dedicated to entertainment law, on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025. During his appearance, Michael provided an overview of his career path, shaped in part by his time earning both his Ph.D. and his J.D. from Michigan. He also delved into his legal representation of some of Hollywood’s biggest stars – including the Kardashian/Jenner family, Prince Harry & Meghan Markle, and more – with the group of students, answering complex questions about entertainment law for the next generation of practitioners.
