Santa Monica, CA – July 6, 2021 – KHIKS is pleased to announce that it has elevated esteemed criminal and civil trial lawyer Shawn Holley to name partner. The new firm name is Kinsella Holley Iser Kump Steinsapir LLP (“KHIKS”). Widely regarded as one of the top women lawyers in the country, Holley is well known for her representation of high-profile celebrity clients, currently including the Kardashian and Jenner families, Del Records, Reggie Bush, Rosario Dawson, T.I., Shia LaBeouf, French Montana, Swae Lee, Tory Lanez, Cerissa Riley, and Paul Marciano. She is also the Executive Producer of Hulu’s upcoming series (working title) REASONABLE DOUBT, which she is producing with Kerry Washington and Larry Wilmore.

Holley began her storied legal career as a Los Angeles County Public Defender, subsequently working alongside legendary lawyer Johnnie Cochran on numerous high-profile civil and criminal cases, including as a member of the O.J. Simpson “Dream” criminal defense team in 1994-95. Holley has been honored on multiple occasions as a Hollywood Reporter “Power Lawyer,” a Los Angeles Business Journal “Woman of Influence,” and a Daily Journal “Top 100” lawyer in California. Holley has served as a legal correspondent for the E! Network and KABC Eyewitness News, and was a featured analyst on E!s nightly coverage of Michael Jackson’s 2005 criminal trial. For the past 20 years, Holley has taught Cardozo Law School’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program, and was named “Outstanding Alumnus” by Southwestern Law School’s Black Law Students Association.
