KHIKS founding partner Michael Kump is profiled in the Fall 2015 issue of The Law Quadrangle, the official publication of the University of Michigan Law School, in its “Hooray for Hollywood” look at the legal success of well-known alumni in Tinseltown.
Going all the way back to the small Minnesota town where Mike grew up, the in-depth article traces a path that led him to the study of metaphysics and epistemology, eventually earning a master’s and Ph.D. in philosophy at Michigan. Looking to use the skills he developed studying law, Mike attended law school at Michigan, graduating in 1981 and moving west to Los Angeles. The article describes the growth and breadth of Mike’s practice in entertainment, media and intellectual property litigation.
There’s lots more, so for the rest of Mike’s exciting journey, see “Hooray for Hollywood.”
