Larry Iser was recently quoted in Jason Pafundi’s Vanguard article “Jun Yamato – Roland Corporation US,” which details the storied career of Jun Yamato, Vice President and General Counsel at Roland Corporation U.S. The article also mentions some of Yamato’s past partnerships with Iser, who teamed up in the late 1990s to obtain and enforce copyright protection for sound recordings in Roland’s Sound Canvas MIDI sound module. Iser partnered with Yamato again in 2006 to stop a competitor from ripping off a Roland line.
Iser speaks highly of Yamato and the cases they worked on together.
