The profile notes that he is currently, “monitoring tunes used by the Trump-Vance ticket on behalf of four high-profile music makers,” and also highlights several infringement claims he is pursuing on behalf of Grammy-nominated duo Sofi Tukker and their publisher Third Side Music.
As part of the special issue, Variety also polled the honorees on their thoughts regarding AI and its impact on the music industry. According to Larry, “There is no legitimate, non-infringing use of AI in the recorded music business.”
