The firm is pleased to announce that Larry Iser and Jonathan Steinsapir have been selected for inclusion in Variety’s second annual “Music Legal Elite Report,” a highly-competitive list spotlighting the top attorneys “rocking the biz.”
Larry was recognized for his work with Jackson Browne and David Byrne, as well as his representation of Sofi Tukker and Third Side Music in copyright infringement claims over their hit song “Best Friend.” Variety also notes that Larry “spent much of 2024 dealing with unauthorized use of clients’ songs in political ads, including ones for President Trump and Sen. Rand Paul.”
Variety highlighted Jonathan’s ongoing representation of the Michael Jackson estate, discussing his arbitration against HBO concerning the “Leaving Neverland” documentary, as well as his recent successful appellate battle with Jackson’s mother over a $600 million catalog deal.
