KHIKS partners Michael Kump, Jonathan Steinsapir and Gregory Korn won summary judgment in federal court in Orlando for KHIKS clients Kim Kardashian West, and Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian. The trademark infringement action filed in 2014 by a European makeup company was scheduled to go to trial in November, but as a result of the Court’s ruling, the entire case has been dismissed. Michael Kump stated: “As my clients have always stated, this case was baseless and they were committed to defending their rights vigorously. They are extremely pleased with the Court’s decision today to grant our summary judgment motion and dismiss this case in its entirety.”
