The Honorable Stephen V. Wilson of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California today granted KHIKS’s motion for attorneys’ fees in connection with our representation of defendant William Morris Endeavor (WME) Entertainment in a lawsuit brought by two screenwriter plaintiffs who had alleged that the hit Fox television show New Girl infringed the copyright of their screenplay Square One.
The Court had previously granted KHIKS’s summary judgment motion in late December 2015, and today ruled that our attorney fees were reasonable, awarding them in full. KHIKS’s team consisted of founding partner Michael Kump, partner Greg Korn and associate Nicholas Soltman.
